I have the same question I had a similar problem, where since upgrading to Windows 10 my ethernet connection showed as ‘Limited’. Search for Network Adapters and expand it. I updated to Windows 10 and all was good. Follow these steps to uninstall Network Adapters.

The device still shows in my Control Panel under Network adaptors, and tells me the drivers are up to date and it is functioning correctly. Where can I find this driver? It’s causing a major issue because I have licenses for music software which need the ethernet connection to validate the wi-fi connection means it’s being treated as a different device so invalidates these licenses so I really need to figure out how to sort it out very soon.
This thread is locked. So, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the network drivers and check. This connection worked very well under windows 7, previously to the update.

How satisfied are you with this marevll In reply to KeithThorburn’s post on September 14, Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows http: If I remove it from that menu then it will re-appear, so is definitely being detected by Windows. We will be glad to assist. Trying to detect it again, but no avail.
